Wellhead, subsea and valve engineering to API standards
Team of specialist engineers starting within a week. Design, analysis and re-qualification for pressure-control equipment.
Our Services

Design & Engineering
Wellhead and tree, subsea systems, pipeline valves, drill-through and choke-and-kill equipment. Concept through detailed design, to API 6A, 17D and 6D.

FEA & Simulation
Structural, thermal and pressure-boundary analysis for design validation and qualification. Various CAD and CAE platforms, deliverables formatted for your review process.

CAD Services
3D CAD, animation videos, motion analysis, and AR/VR for design review, training, product demos, installation sequences and tender presentations.
Rapid Global is a specialist engineering team working on API pressure-control equipment — wellhead and tree, subsea systems, pipeline and process valves, drill-through equipment, and choke and kill systems.

Frequently Asked Questions

Wellhead and tree equipment, subsea systems, pipeline and process valves, drill-through equipment, and choke and kill systems. Our specialism is API pressure-control equipment rather than general mechanical engineering.
API 6A for wellhead and pressure-control equipment, API 17D for subsea, API 6D for pipeline valves, API 16A for drill-through equipment and API 16C for choke and kill systems.
Work typically starts within a week of an agreed scope. There’s no recruitment cycle involved — you’re not adding permanent headcount to get engineering capacity.
SolidWorks, Creo, Siemens NX, CATIA, AutoCAD and Inventor for design and modelling, and ANSYS, COMSOL, ABAQUS, HYPERMESH for analysis. Models can be delivered in the native format or as neutral geometry.
Most work is quoted as a fixed price against an agreed scope, so the cost is known before anything starts. Where the work is genuinely open-ended — ongoing drawing support, or analysis where the scope emerges as we go — we work on a rate basis against an agreed budget. Either way you get the deliverables list and the price in writing first.
Yes. Drawings are produced to your templates, title blocks, drawing numbering and layer conventions, so deliverables drop into your existing document system rather than needing rework.
Both. Requalification is a significant part of the work: bringing legacy equipment and drawing packages up to current standard revisions, re-rating designs for higher pressure or wider temperature ranges, with gap analysis, recalculation and the supporting documentation.
You do. All design output, models and calculation files are yours, and the native files are handed over on request.
We work under NDA as standard and can sign yours before any scope is shared. Client names and project details are never published without written permission.
We work with clients across the world. Working hours overlap the European, Asian and Middle East business day, with review calls scheduled around your working day rather than ours.
